Building History

Prominent Pasadena architect Elmer Grey (1872-1963) completed this country house in 1912, a sophisticated amalgamation of contemporary English country houses, Italian farmhouses and Mexican-Early California haciendas.

Building Notes

Architect's own house; this residence had a gabled roof with a projecting turret on the front facade. Its walls were stucco-faced.
