A two-story retail building on Second Avenue; it may have had cast iron members in the facade and had two bay windows on the second floor. Sherman Clay and Company, a well-known seller of pianos on the West Coast, occupied the first and part of the second floors c. 1900. J.F. Adams, a grocer, also worked in the building on the second floor contemporaneously. Next door, the Pioneer Restaurant operated.
