WJA Architects, HNTB Architects Engineers and Planners, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Lewis Area Office, collaborated on the construction of eight new buildings at Fort Lewis in 1995-1996. These included: Barracks A and B, a dining facility, Operations and Supply buildings A, B, C and D, RSU building, sitework and utilities. Work commenced 05/08/1995 and was slated to finish 08/01/1996. The project was budgeted to cost $30,016,000, making it the fifth most expensive public project in the State of Washington in 1995.
