The Park Department Administrative Headquarters in Denny Park was dedicated on 06/16/1949 with Seattle Mayor William F. Davis, Park Superintendent Paul V. Brown, and Park Board Chairman in attendance.

The Seattle Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) presented the Seattle Parks Department Administration Building with its Grand Honor Award in 1950.
