Overview

The noted physician and one-time Seattle Mayor Thomas Taylor Minor (1844-1889) resided in this house designed by the architect John Nestor. Minor was an avid amateur anthropologist, businessman and local politician for whom a local elementary school was named in 1890, a year after his death.
