"It was also learned yesterday that work on the height-limit bank building for the Pacific-Southwest Bank on the northeast corner of Main and Commercial streets will start soon. Dodd & Richards, who have been commissioned to draft the plans, are completing preliminary details. This is the result of locating the Civic Center north of First street.
