This cooperative housing community composed of custom houses received an Honor Award from the Southern California and the Pasadena and Foothill chapters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) in 1951 and an Award of Merit from the national AIA organization in 1952. Edgardo Contini, Whitney R. Smith and A.Quincy Jones received the award for their design work on this 500-house tract.
