Overview

Built in 1910, this two-story, wood-frame dwelling had elements of bungalow architecture as well as Tudor Revival touches. It was owned for over 50 years by the notable historic preservationist Virginia Ernst Kazor.

Building History

Beginning in 1970, the historic resource curator and preservation advocate Virginia Ernst Kazor (1940-2021) lived at this address. She helped found the Ridgewood-Wilton Neighborhood Association and led the effort in the late 1970s to create the Wilton Historic District that preserved many single-family dwellings in the area.
