Louis L. Bard financed the construction of the Bard's West Adams Theatre in Los Angeles, CA; Arthur Bard and Company was its builder; Los Angeles architects, Gable and Wyant, were listed as having been the original architects on this project in 03/1924; by 01/1925, however, L.A. Smith of Los Angeles, well-known for motion picture theatre architecture in Los Angeles, had taken over work on the Bard's West Adams Theatre;

This theatre, seating 496, operated from 1925 to c. 1950.
