Overview

C.W. Marwedel operated a tool shop at 76 1st Street in 1927. Marwedel had been in business since 1872 in San Francisco, and also operated a metalworking department at 31 Jessie Street in the same city. The firm dealt in tools, shop supplies, and brass, copper and steel items. (See Polk’s Crocker-Langley San Francisco Directory, 1927, p. 329.)
