Building Notes

A professional journal aimed at plumbing and heating contractors, Domestic Engineering, reported on the new YMCA in San Bernardino in 1912: "The contract for the heating and ventilating systems for the Y.M.C.A. building at San Bernardino, Cal., has been awarded to E.D. Hough, of Los Angeles, amount $4,100. The plumbing and vacuum cleaning contracts on the same building went to the San Bernardino Hardware Co., amount $2,847."
