Overview

J.C. Wilson operated the office for his coal, coke and pig iron business at 900 Battery Street in San Francisco in 1897. At this time, Wilson also had yards located on the northeast corner of Vallejo and Battery Streets, on the southwest corner of Front and Green Streets in San Francisco, and, in Oakland, an office at 1058 Broadway and a yard on the northeast corner of 5th and Webster Street. John C. Wilson, Jr., worked for J.C. Wilson and Company in 1897 and he resided at the Hotel Baltimore in San Francisco. (See Crocker-Langley San Francisco, California, 1897, p. 1795.)
