Overview

The winery, specializing in sparkling wines, first opened as an American branch of the French Moët and Chandon Winery. The winery opened in 1973 with both a tasting room and restaurant, the latter being renamed Étoilein 2006 and closed in 2014. The former restaurant was converted to more tasting roomspace.

Building Notes

In 1996, the restaurant featured French-California cuisine costing $7-$9.50 for appetizers, $21-$28 for entrees and $7 for desserts.
