Building History

Designed by the Portland-based firm of ZImmer Gunsul Frasca (ZGF), the Family Justice Center for Santa Clara County was funded by CA Senate Bill 1407, passed on 09/26/2008. As built originally, the Family Justice Center contained 20 courtrooms and 233,906 square feet on eight floors. The project cost $233,267,000.

ZGF worked with the Greley, CO-based general contractor, Hensel Phelps Construction Company, to erect the new courthouse.
