Overview
The California Furniture Company operated a factory at this location in the early 20th century. At 648 South Broadway, next door, was a Boos Brothers' Cafeteria. In 1935, Clifton and Nelda Clinton took over both spaces to create their second cafeteria in the city, Clifton's Brookdale Cafeteria.
