Overview

Containing 118,130-square-meters of space, the Sail @ Marina Bay apartment complex consisted of two towers, Tower 1 standing at 70 stories, and Tower 2, with 63 stories. The building possessed 1,111 apartment units, and had its own restaurant, health club, tennis courts, swimming pools, and parking garage. The design team was led by architect Peter C. Pran (1935-2017), a lead designer for the firm of NBBJ, based in Seattle, WA.

Building Notes

Sail @ Marina Bay won several design awards, including in the Cityscape Awards for Real Estate in Asia 2009, "Best Waterfront Development (Built)," a Malaysian FIABCI Prix d’Excellence Award, in the Residential (High Rise) Category, and and prizes in the MIPIM Asia Awards, for the Best Residential Development and the Participants’ Choice Award.
