Alteration

Architects William Cleveland Aiken (b. 1859) and Arthur Burnett Benton (1858-1927) produced plans for an addition to the front of Saint Paul's Episcopal Church in 05/1894. (See St. Paul's Church Addition, Builder and Contractor, 05/16/1894, p. 1.)

The Los Angeles Herald noted in 1904: "St. Paul's Protestant Episcopal church, 525 South Olive street, alterations to a two-story building, consisting of a brick addition, $11,000; Arthur Benton, architect; O.
