Overview

In 1907, the German-American Savings Bank had two locations in Los Angeles, its main office at 223 South Spring Street, and a branch office on the northeast corner of Main and Spring Streets in Downtown, Los Angeles. (See advertisemet in the Los Angeles, California, City Directory, 1907,Banks and Commercial Institutions, p. I.) In 1890, the only location of the German-American Bank operated at 114 South Main Street in Los Angeles. (SeeLos Angeles, California, City Directory, 1890, p. 334.)
