Overview

The bank of Tropico occupied a main intersection location in the business district of Tropico c. 1911. In that year, Dan Campbell served as the bank's president, B.W. Richardson, its vice-president, and John A. Logan, cashier. The bank had deposits of $65,241 on 03/01/1911, and $90,443 a year later. In 1915, the bank was known as the "1st National Bank of Tropico." Tropico was annexed to Glendale, CA, in 1917.
