Overview

This small cottage originally served as a photographic studio for Alice Kelly, who migrated to Palo Alto, CA, in 1892 to serve as the city's new Deputy Postmaster. She lived with her mother in the house next door, 940 Bryant Street, during 1905-1906. In 1906, two women, Alice and Maude Jay Wilson opened a small business in this building, called the "Bungalow Photographic Studio." It was later converted to a residence.
