Overview

This Italian Renaissance Revival Style building, designed by the Long Beach partnership of Wright and Gentry, Architects, served the Scottish Rite branch of Freemasonry in Long Beach. Built in a scant 14 months (between 07/1925 and 09/1926), this elaborate edifice cost a whopping $500,000. Long admired in the city, it was voted the eighth City of Long Beach Historic Landmark.

Building Notes

W.E. Campbell acted as the building contractor on the Scottish RIte Cathedral.
