Overview

This five-bedroom, six-bath residence had a very minimalistic exterior, its primary decorative element being tall, arched windows and doorways. Its southwest facade featured a deeply-set arcade framing scenic views. Outdoor living was accommodated on the top of the garage, sited just below the main house. The architectural firm, Amir Farr and Associates, shaped the house around an enclosed atrium. They sited the brick-veneered house on a relatively steep slope in Los Feliz that had a panoramic sweep north toward Griffith Park and Mount Hollywood, west toward the Lake Hollywood Open Space, and southwest to the ocean. Bermed landscaping led to the front door on the south side.
