Building Notes

This branch of the Crocker-Anglo National Bank (later known as the "Crocker Bank,") gained notoriety for being the site of the 04/21/1975 bank hold-up staged by surviving members of the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA), led by Emily Harris (born 1947). In this incident, the group stole $15,000 in cash and killed a bank customer, Myrna Opsahl (1933-1975), a mother of four.
