Overview

This two-floor residence had a tall basement story and elevated first floor. It stood in the Hayes Park II Sub-division in Ravenna, developed by 1942. Like other houses in this part of the tract, it had a large basement, long horizontal lines, and shallowly-pitched hippeed roof. To minimize costs, houses in this area had simple rectangular plans, with no wings.

Building Notes

This 3-bedroom, 1.75-bath dwelling contained 1,900 square feet with hardwood floors. It had separate living, dining and and family rooms. In 2015, the house occupied a 4,800-square-foot lot. It had an asking price of $575,000 in 06/2015.

Alteration

When viewed in 2015, the house had had its kitchen--cabinets, countertops, appliances and fixtures--completely remodeled within the last 5 years. The house had had its central air-conditioning unit changed within the last 10 years. A brick patio stood out back on the residence's north side. The house's exterior was painted a rich, pumpkin orange color at this time.
