Overview

A note in the Seattle Times on 05/13/1906 indicated: ""Mr. Huntington is also drawing plans for a small residence for John G. Price at Fremont...." (See "With the Architects," Seattle Times, 05/13/1906, p. 41.) The 1908 Seattle City Directory (p. 1064), stated that John G. Price was the President of the Northern Bank and Trust Company, and that he lived in a wealthy section of town, 1717 East Thomas Street in Capitol Hill. This may mean one of several things: a.) Price built this Fremont residence as a speculative venture. b.) It was meant for him, but never built or c.) It was not meant for him and not built.
