Port Angeles, WA

Overview

The Port Angeles Brewery was active c. 1913, producing a low-alcohol beer aimed at the "family market." As noted in its Seattle Times advertisement of 07/11/1913 (p. 8), marketing low-alochol beer with "none of the disagreeable effects of other beers" was meant to appeal to the increasingly influential temperance movement. Angeles Brewing sold its products across the Puget Sound region.
