The Los Angeles Times stated that this warehouse building would be built by the Italian Vineyard Company in 1924: ""Erection of a height-limi warehouse and loft structure on the southeast corner of Eleventh and Los Angeles streets at a cost of $1,000,000 was announced yesterday by officials of the building syndicate. The corner is owned by the Italian Vineyard Company, which will erect the structure as the future home of the Klein-Norton Company, wholesale furnishers now located at 253 South Los Angeles street." (See "Election Booms Local Building," Los Angeles Times, 11/15/1924, p. A1.)

This Class A building, composed of a reinforced concrete frame, would occupy a 60-foot frontage on Los Angeles Street and 140 feet on 11th.
