During the mid-2000s, this terminal served the Norwegian Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The first day of the cruise line season in Seattle (2007) was 04/23/2007. In 2006, according to the Port of Seattle, cruise ships--many en route to AK--created 1,950 jobs, $6.2 million in state and local taxes, $233 million in business revenue, and $60 million in wages. In 2007, the Port estimated that 190 cruise ships would dock at Pier 66.
