Building Notes

Unbuilt. Spokane County staged a competition for its first purpose-built county courthouse in 1893, naming six firms as finalists; they included C.B. Seaton, L.L. Rand, Herman Preusse, and Cutter and Poetz--all Spokane-based architects, and Seattle-based Willis A. Ritchie, (who opened an office in Spokane for this competition), and John Parkinson.
