Portland architect Elmer Feig designed this 3-floor, red-brick-faced apartment block for Fred W. Lindquist, a local developer. Feig designed the Lindquist Apartments in the Spanish Colonial Reviva Style, and used it for at least six other apartment buildings in the city. (See "Lindquist Apartment House," National Register of Historic Places Continuation Sheet, 1993;Accessed 03/05/2013; this information was given generously to the author by Catherine Westergaard, 03/05/2013.)

The building contained 20 apartments, 14 one-bedroom units, 5 two-bedroom units, and a single studio apartment.
