During the period of their tempestuous partnership, Richard Neutra (1892-1970) and Robert Alexander (1907-1992) worked together on commercial and institutional projects, while Neutra alone was allowed to continue designing residential commissions. The Fine Arts Building at Cal State Northridge was a collaborative work between Neutra and Alexander.

Demolished; the Fine Arts Building was razed in 1997.
