Building Notes

The altered Hewes Building was termed an "intrusion" in the 20-building National Register of Historic Places' Market Street Theatre and Loft District. The other 20 buildings covered a 131-acre parcel and retained much of their original design integrity.

Alteration

This high-rise building's whole height has been reclad, hiding (and probably obliterating) the building's original decorative features.
