The Wurster Construction Company, with offices in San Diego, CA, and Los Angeles, CA, c. 1925, obtained the contract to build a 140-foot x 260-foot, 1-story dance hall for the Mission Beach Company. The maple dance hall measured 90 x 200 feet. The contract was worth approximately $180,000. Lincoln Rogers was the architect, associated with F.A. Stevenson.

This was a Class C Building, with a stucco exterior, and a composite and tile roof. The space was spanned by Summerbell (or steel) roof trusses, opened by skylights over the maple dance floor.
