The Westborough Water District (WWD) was a special district that is publicly-owned and managed by a board of directors. It was known previously as the "Callan Park County Water District," In 2011, the Westborough Water District had about 4,000 customers in South San Francisco, CA, and its environs. At this time, it bought all of its water from the City and County of San Francisco Water Department whose supplies originated in the Hetch Hetchy Valley. The WWD maintained 24 miles of water lines providing an average of 1 million gallons a day. The WWD's three steel storage tanks could hold 6.3 million gallons.
