This small cottage had a side-gabled roof and siding of board-and-batten. It had two bedrooms, one bath, a joined living and dining space, inset porch and an attached garage. Winsor Soule and John Frederic Murphy who were used to designing much larger, grander Spanish Colonial Revival estates in Santa Barbara, did this rustic house design, c. 1935.
