This station, designed by Miller-Hull Architects, was erected by the Howard S. Wright Construction Company of Seattle, WA. Groundbreaking for the new fire station began in 04/2009 with work being completed in 04/2010.

The building has three bays for fire trucks and is two stories tall. Demolition of the previous station was considered preferable to due to the high cost of seismic retrofitting.
