Renovated by architect Arne Bystrom, c. 1982. Bystrom and two partners (forming the GCB Partnership), bought the two-story building from the City of Seattle, and restored it. Others involved in the renovation included Darrold Bolton, P.E., Structural Engineer; Stan Volk, Smith Brothers Heating; Burfitt Construction Company, General Contractor.
