The San Francisco architectural firm of John Bolles and Associates designed the Bayview Library, with construction occurring in 1968-1969. Work was completed in 02/1969 and dedicated on 07/12/1969. Nibbi Brothers Construction Company served as the General Contractor. Jacques Overhoff (born 1933 in the Netherlands) created a sculpture adorning the front elevation.
