Building Notes

The University Club occupied a 15,360 sq. ft. (0.35 acre) lot in 2010; it was a wood-frame building, 3 stories high, with 20,411 gross square feet and 12,648 net.

The Seattle architect, Charles Henry Alden, Jr., (1867-1951), lived at the University Club, c. 1939. Another architect, Charles H. Bebb, (1862-1942), resided at the club in 1941. (See Seattle, Washington, City Directory, 1941, p. 130.)

Seattle's Women's University Club was located at 1105 6th Avenue.
