Building History

Architect Charles W. Dickey built this 1and 1/2-story house in Piedmont, CA, close to his architectural office in Oakland. It cost $2,000 to build, and Dickey paid a mortgage to a neighbor, Frank Leach, who owned a neighboring house at 125 Hillside Avenue that the architect also designed.
