Front Street later became known as 1st Avenue; the Seattle Safe Deposit Building was located on Front Street near Cherry Street.

The Seattle Safe Deposit Building #1 was located on Front Street (later renamed 1st Avenue) near Cherry Street.

R.L. Polk and Company's Seattle City Directory, 1889,(p. 384), listed the address of the Safe Deposit Building to have been 701-703 Front Street.

Demolished; the Seattle Safe Deposit Building #1 was burned in the Great Fire of 06/06/1889.
