Erected in 1963, this design by Seattle architect, Robert Allan Adams, was conceived to grow with his young family. Containing just 1,000 square feet, the house had Murphy beds and only one doorway, that of the bathroom. The Adams Family lived in the house for over 3 decades.

Threatened by demolition in 2006, new owners, Tom and Katie Shuler, stepped forward to have the house dismantled and rebuilt on a site in Gig Harbor, WA. The dismantling cost approximately $25,000.
