Designed at about the same time as Suzzallo Library, Hutchinson Hall shares its Gothic Revival styling. It was designed originally as the Women's Gymnasium on campus, and was retrofitted in 1984 to serve as the home of the Drama Department. The building bends to conform to its location on Stevens Way, turning as the road turns to make its tower more prominent.

Renovated in 1984 to accommodate the University of Washington Drama Department.
